According to the Dragon Lover's Guide to Pern
®, twelve is the smallest number of riders in a wing that a
Weyrleader will permit, and there will be no more than thirty in a
given wing. We will fill up all the wings with 30 PC characters
before considering opening a new wing. The rest of the riders are assumed, meaning they
are NPCs with no character sheets. If you have any questions, or
wish to transfer your rider to another wing, contact the BoD at bod@cibryen.com
.
Wingleaders will always be bronze, and on occasion
we will consider brown wingseconds unless there is a shortage of
bronzes. In that case, browns will be chosen to fill the empty
slots. If you see an open slot, and would like to apply for the
position, contact the BoD at the address listed above. Be aware
that we will evaluate your performance as a member before giving
you this position. The exception to this rule is the Weyrling's
Wing, which is led by and seconded by the Weyrlingmaster and his
assistants.
The Queen's Wing is where injured riders and
riders on mild punishment are placed.
There are three NPC wings which will be reinstated when all the
other wings are filled: Night Song, Sky Fire, and Sun Flight.
