Brief physical description: Dorlena was once pretty, but now age and childbirth has robbed her of that early beauty, and left her with a rather dumpy, shapeless frame. She's still attractive, but in a much different way. Her long black hair hangs to her waist, and is streaked liberally with silver. Her face is showing lines and wrinkles, while her doe-brown eyes are just as youthful as ever. She is a happy person, always smiling and talking. She's flighty, but good-natured, and was never good for anything but being a wife and mother. Kymblar treats her well, and spoils her endlessly.
Background: Dorlena was raised one of many sisters, child to the Lord Holder of Crom. She was clearly not the brightest of the bunch, and was groomed to be marriage fodder from an early age. She found a good mate in Kymblar, and has never had a reason to complain. She has borne seven children, and has been a good mother to all of them, actually participating in their upbringing rather than relying on fosters and nannies to do the job for her.
She's superb at embroidery, of course, and all the womanly arts except cooking, which she is absolutely abysmal at, although she continues to try, and no one ever has the heart to tell her to stay the hell out of the kitchen. But everyone wishes she would...
