Build:
Not a tall young man, Blaedd has a strong body of medium build.
His shoulders are broad and his arms strong. One finger on
his left hand is permenantly bent, the result of a poorly
healed break. He has a great deal of fine blonde hair on his
arms and legs.
Facial:
Blaedd isn't particularly attractive. He has a strong, rugged
look about him, but his features aren't conventially
attractive. His jaw is square, and it is covered with dirty
blonde stubble matching his cropped hair. His nose is slightly
flat, and his brown eyes are wide-set.
Style of dress:
Blaedd likes comfortable, loose clothing and strong boots. He
has no color preferences.

He twiddles his thumbs when he's bored, and likes to play games
socially.

Personality:
Blaedd's face is almost constantly formed into a smile.
Even his eyes light up. He shares a great deal of the charisma
that characterizes his older brother, Iarwain. Blaedd is the
type of person who likes to see the good in everyone, even if it
really isn't there. His cheerful good nature rarely falters,
and he has to be truly livid to show much outward evidence of
his temper. He's valued as a level-headed individual. He
enjoys his craft, but is not particularly ambitious. Rather,
he'd be content to stay a journeyman vinter at a decent Hold
for life.
Background/history:
Blaedd is the second son of Maera, Cibryen Weyr's
birthingwoman. He had an average weyr childhood. With so many
children in his family, he was mostly left to himself when he
wasn't required to help out. He was a cheerful child, and had
many friends.
Blaedd had little interest in the usual weyrbrat dreams
of Impressing a dragon. He just didn't care much for that sort
of life. Growing up, he was of average intelligence - not
particularly bright, but no dimglow, either. He spent a lot of
time hanging around various crafters and learning a bit about
their crafts.
At the age of twelve, he finally asked his mother about
apprenticing. His older brother, Iarwain, whom he idolized,
had already left for the Harper Hall, and he desperately wanted
to get away from home as well. A vinter had taken a shine to
the lad, and it was quickly agreed that Blaedd would be taken
on as an apprentice vinter. He left for Cibryen Hold.
He learned to love his craft, and worked to finish all
of the requirements that would make him journeyman. At 18, he
walked the tables and was promptly posted to Roaring Cliffs
Hold.
