Based on the best-selling novel series, "The Dragonriders of Pern®" by Anne McCaffrey, Cibryen Weyr is an approved Play By Email (PBeM) club where players can become anything from Lord Holders to Dragonriders to drudges! Cibryen Weyr is set in the Northern Continent of Pern in an alternate 9th Pass timeline AIVAS was never found, and Cibryen stands in the place of Benden Weyr and Hold.
Here at Cibryen, we believe that Pern is a happy place, where bad things never happen to good people, the bad guys are always caught, and that the weather is always great when you want to have a picnic...
Oh wait. No we don't. No, actually, Pern is not a very nice place at all. Not only do bad things happen to good people, we encourage them to. If you're looking for a nice, fuzzy place where everything is sweetness and light, you'd best try looking elsewhere for your weyr. If you come here with that attitude, we will laugh at you. In real life.
We try to make our Pern as realistic as possible, where good people aren't always perfect, where bad people aren't always evil, and where we like to Blow Things Up (tm). We do. If this sounds like the place for you, then welcome to Cibryen Weyr.
We do ask prospective members to be aware that our game sometimes deals with adult issues.

Use the AIM remote to join in Cibryen chat! Odds are good that just about any time you want to talk, there'll be somebody online. :) If there's someone in the chat room, but they're not talking, they're probably just AFK, as many of us leave our AIM up all the time. So don't be upset if we don't respond. And also, if there's no one there, just sit around and wait for a while. People come and go all the time, checking to see if anyone's there. Most of our activity occurs in the evenings (US time) when there are more people online, and continues into the wee hours of the morning. Hall of Fame
